Transportation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Proffer Wholesale
Produce, Inc., which was established by Udell Proffer in
1964. Throughout our 41 year history, we have undergone
numerous transformations and are poised for expansion in the 21st
century.
Proffer
Transportation currently consists of more than 70 tractor trailers,
multiple Bob Trucks, 24 hr service station, and an extensive truck
brokerage to handle all your transportation needs.
All of our tractors are equipped with a Quall Comm Satellite
communication Systems, and all of our drivers are equipped with Cell
Phones. This affords Proffer Produce and its customers up to the minute
track ability of each shipment.
